Norway - The Landscape
Norway just blew me away. It overwhelmed me like no other part of this planet ever has. It's so beautiful it makes one's heart hurt. The landscape is so powerful. So powerfully beautiful. It's so intense. I felt depressed for weeks afterwards when I had returned home because I was missing the daily battering of that visual and emotional intensity that being in Norway entails. After a while you feel like you just can't take any more and you start shouting at the landscape to just stop being so incredibly awesome and just lay off for a while, let me rest a while, to try to take it in. But no, it doesn't let up. It continually hammers you with its intense, overwhelming, beauty and power. That's the Norwegian landscape.
